The Straw that Breaks the Camel's Back

Greetings all -

By the way, you don't have to go to Pluto for revelation. In fact, you can go way beyond Pluto by going to www.crazylovebook.com and clicking on "The Awe of God" or something like that. You will go way, way beyond Pluto, but as you pass by poor Pluto -- it once was a planet but isn't anymore -- you glimpse me in my old Yellow pickup still cruising in an outer orbit.

Anyway, I don't know everything there is to understand about this "Delta" revelation, which is why this is not going out to the main list. But, as I read this morning in a book by the author of the Companion Bible: "The word says that Abraham believed God. It did not say that Abraham understood God."

To review: We are passing out of the age of Gimmel (Gamma in Greek) and into the age of Dalet (Delta).  Gimmel is represented by the Camel, Dalet is represented by the Door.

Matthew 19:24: "And again, I say onto you. It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."

Remember, Gimmel is the age of prosperity. Delta is the age of being poor in spirit (that doesn't mean you can't be prosperous.)

This morning as I was in prayer for a brother going through the hardest test of his ministry I got the word: "This will be the straw the breaks the Camel's back."

It was eight hours later before I remembered that the Camel is the sign of Gimmel.  Straw, of course, is the symbol of dead works. The eye of the needle is the door of Delta.

If you are under intense pressure right now and feel like the weight of the world is on you, that's the Lord adding that last straw to break your will, lessen your load, and rearrange you to fit through the eye of the needle.

The Delta age is also the time of the earthquake, but the shaking will be far greater and seem more fearsome if you stay in Gimmel. There is always security when your feet are on the land of your season and anointing.

A little information on Gimmel below.

blessings,

john

The third letter of the Hebrew alphabet is called "Gimmel" (pronounced "geeh-mel") and has the sound of "g" as in "girl."

Advanced Information

The letter Gimmel is the third letter of the Aleph-Bet, having the numeric value of three. The pictograph for Gimmel is a camel, and the “architecture” of the classical Hebrew letter looks something like a man constructed from a Vav and a Yod. Notice the Yod that points to the left, indicating the direction the “man” is walking.

Mysteries of Gimmel
In the Talmud it is said that the Gimmel symbolizes a rich man running after a poor man (the next letter Dalet) to give him tzedakah (charity). (dalut) in Hebrew means impoverished. Gimmel thus represents the free choice to run after the teaching of Torah by practicing acts of chesed (lovingkindness).

The root (gamal) means to deal out to, to give, or wean. The word (g’mul) means either recompense or benefit, indicating that the nature of the giving can lead to either blessing or judgment for the one who gives. In other words, how one chooses to “run” the race in Olam Hazeh will determine the outcome of his or her life in Olam Habah. Hence gemilut chasidim is the practice of kindness toward others.

The parts of gimmel add up to 16, the same value for , the verb to be, thus indicating that our giving affects the nature of our existence in the realm of the spirit.

The number three also represents stability, like three legs of a stool. From the Mishnah (oral Torah) it is said that the world itself stands on three things: Torah, avodah (worship) and acts of lovingkindness. Other important “triads” include the three patriarchs (Abraham, Isaac and Jacob) and the sections of the Tanakh (Torah, Nevi'im, and Ketuvim).
